SECTION 00520 <br /> (SAMPLE) AGREEMENT <br /> (INSERT CONTRACTOR'S NAME). <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the day of <br /> , 201_, by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and (INSERT CONTRACTOR'S <br /> NAME). ("Contractor") <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. City requires Contractor's services. <br /> B. Contractor has the necessary experience in providing professional services and advice. <br /> C. Selection of Contractor is expected to achieve the desired results in an expedited fashion. <br /> D. Contractor has submitted a proposal to City and has affirmed its willingness and ability to <br /> perform such work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained <br /> herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Scope of Work and Time for Performance. Contractor shall perform everything required <br /> to be performed, shall provide and furnish all of the labor, equipment, materials, and <br /> tools to perform, within thirty (30) calendar days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the <br /> following work: <br /> EAST BAYSHORE ROAD STREET LIGHTING PROJECT <br /> in strict accordance with the Plans, Contract Documents and Specifications pertaining <br /> thereto as described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, signed by <br /> the Manager, Engineering and Construction of Redwood City, which Documents are <br /> incorporated herein and made a part of this Agreement as if herein fully set forth. <br /> 2. Compensation. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for the faithful <br /> performance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, the amount of (INSERT <br /> CONTRACT $AMOUNT) and 00/100 Dollars ($ .00) computed in <br /> accordance with Contractor's accepted Proposal dated (INSERT DATE) which accepted <br /> Proposal is incorporated herein by reference thereto as if herein fully set forth. <br /> 3. Standard of Performance.
