The power supply must be rated for a minimum operational life equal to the minimum <br /> operational life of the luminaire, or greater. <br /> The power supply case temperature must have a self rise of 77 °F or less above ambient <br /> temperature in free air with no additional heat sinks. <br /> The power supply must have 2 leads to accept standard 0-10 V(dc). Dimming control must be <br /> compatibie with IEC 60929. If the control leads are open or the analog control signal is lost, the circuit <br /> must default to 100-percent power. <br /> Conductors and terminals must be identified. <br /> 1.27 BUY AMERICAN PROVISIONS <br /> A. Work under this contract must comply with the Recovery Act Buy American Provisions. <br /> Materials supplied for this project must comply with the requirement in section 1605 of the <br /> Recovery Act, which requires that all iron, steel, and manufactured goods used for a project for <br /> the construction, aiteration, maintenance, or repair of a public building or public work be <br /> produced in the United States, (unless one of three listed exemptions applies and the office of <br /> Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy issues a waiver, or a recipient can legally avail itself <br /> of the United States' obligations under international agreements). <br /> B. Contractor will be required to provide the following documentation: (1) receipts for items <br /> produces domestically indicating such; (2) a documented certification from the contractor, <br /> vendor, distributor, supplier, or manufacturer verifying that the product was manufactured <br /> domestically; (3) detailed and verifiable information supporting the claim that the manufactured <br /> good has undergone substantial transformation in the United States; and/or other reasonable <br /> documentation per the discretion of the city demonstrating compliance with the Buy American <br /> provisions. <br /> * * * <br /> SPECIAL CONDITIONS 00800-12 <br /> EAST BAYSHRORE ROAD STREET LIGHTING PROJECT <br />
