It is presently conteinplated that <br /> upoil contracting out services, a11 Fire Depar�ment employees of San Carlos wi11 be laid off. San <br /> Carlas is asking LCW far advice and counsel conce�ning San Carlas' and ernployee rights and <br /> obligations pertaining to the layoff process, including the duty ta meet and confer with affected <br /> employee bargaining units, compliance with C4BRA,interpxetatian o�existing bargainiz�g <br /> agreeinents related to employee cash outs and retiree pension and health care benefits, and all <br /> otl�ex z�xatters wzthzn tl�e statutory scope flf bar�au�ii�g that�rz�ay be xzx�p�ica�ed by tlae contxacti�g <br /> out of fire services.
