City of Los Angeles <br /> legislation (2009) that invalidates Inclusionary Ordinances as they apply to rental <br /> housing. <br /> 2) Elimination of Redevelopment including associated 15% RDA affordable <br /> housing unit requirement; and <br /> 3) Reduction in Federal and State funding sources for affordable housing, <br /> including $10,000,000 in affordable housing funds that Redwood City believes <br /> should go to the City as successor to the Redevelopment Agency (RDA.) <br /> The State, as part of the RDA dissolution process, has ordered Redwood City <br /> to relinquish all affordable housing funds. Redwood City & SuccessorAgency <br /> to former RDA have file a law suit against State to retain these funds for senior <br /> housing (Bradford site) and to facilitate other affordable housing projects. <br />
