Primarv pedestrian access to buildin�s shall be from the sidewalk. <br /> C. Pedestrian-Uriented Desi n Pedestrian Access. The desi n of new ro'ects shall ramote <br /> walkabilitv and connecti�itv to include desi�n and orientatian standards such as: <br /> 1. Enhanced Streetsca es. Streets shall be enhanced with street5ca e elements includin <br /> but nat limited to landsca in and edestrian amenities such as benches edestrian- <br /> scaled li�htin�, #rash enclosures, and bicycle stora�e. <br /> 2. Internal Connections. A s stem of edestrFar� walkwa s shall connect all buildin s on a <br /> site to each other to on-site automobile and bic cle arkin areas and to an on-site <br /> apen space areas and pedestrian amenities. <br /> 3. Internal Pedestrian Walkwa s Width. Internal walkwa s shall he a minimum of six feet <br /> wide where located ad'acent to an common o en s ace areas. Internal walkwa s <br /> elsewhere on the ro ert shall be a minimum of four feet wide and a�ed with <br /> ermeable materials unless walkwa s are located near swimmin ools or in hea�il <br /> trafficked areas. <br /> 4.
