The residential ortion of the li�e work unit shall be no <br /> mare than 60 ercer�t of the total unit area but na less than 50 ercent af the <br /> total unit area in order to ensure that the residential ortion remains accessor <br /> to the rimar commercial use and com I with California Buildir� Code <br /> re uirements. All floor area other than that reser►red far livin s ace shall be <br /> reser�ed and re�ularlv used far working space• <br /> ii. Access to indi�iduaE units. Access to each unit shali be ro�ided from sho <br /> fronts directl from the sidewalk arallel to the rimar or secondar street <br /> from common access areas corridors or halls. The access to each unit shall be <br /> clearl se arate from other live work units or other uses within the buildin . <br /> Li�in s ace shall be located in the rear round level or second #laor and abo�e <br /> to maintain activitv and cammercial access alon�the fronta�e. <br /> iii. Facilities to accammodate commercial or industrial acti�ities. A li�e wark unit <br /> shall be desi ned to accommodate nonresidential uses as evidenced b the <br /> ro�isian of �entilation interior stara e floorin and other h sical <br /> im ro�ements of the t e commonl found in exclusivel nonresidential faciljties <br /> used for the same work activitv. <br /> i�.
