Used or dama ed e ui ment removed from vehicles durin the re air <br /> rocess shall be stored indoors or shall be de osited in an a raved covered <br /> outdoor collection rece tacle for a ra riate off-site dis osal. Outdo�r stora e ar�d <br /> work areas are prohibited. <br /> b. Automobile Service Ba Streenin and Locatian. If service ba s face a street the ser�ice <br /> ba s shall be situated arallel to a secondar street or alle or ade uate screened <br /> bv structures. <br /> 55.3 New Streets and Pathways Re�ulations <br /> A. New Streets. Sites in excess of ane acre shall be desi ned to ro�ide block and street <br /> atterns consistent with the ad'acent ro erties and or surroundin contextual <br /> environment. New streets shall establish a edestrian-friendl interconnected street <br /> network with no block face exceedin 40� feet in len th un�ess determined b the <br /> res onsible re�iew authorit to be infeasible due to location of raii lines alon the block or <br /> other insUrmountable existin�conditions. <br /> B. 5treet and Pathwa Connectivit . New develo ment shall maintain and enhance <br /> edestrian hic cle transit and �ehicle connecti�it with a hierarch of streets and <br /> athwa s consistent wEth the street t olo identified in the Redw�od Cit General Plan <br /> Fi ure BE-14 . Primar edestrian access to buildin s shall be from the sidewalk. <br /> C. Pedestrian-Oriented Desi n Pedestrian Access. The desi n of new ro'ects shall romote <br /> walkabilit and connecti�it to include desi n and arientation standards such as: <br /> 1. Enhanced Streetsca es. Streetsca es shall be enhanced with enriched streetsca e <br /> elements ir►cludin but not limited to a �ariet of landsca in and edestrian amenities <br /> such as benches edestrian-scaled li htin trash enclosures and bic cle stora e. <br /> 2. Internal Connections. A s stem of edestrian walkwa s shall connect al� buildin s on a <br /> site to each other to on-site automobile and bic cle arkin areas and to an on-site <br /> apen space areas and pedestrian amenities. <br /> 3.
