6.1.D. - Page 2 <br /> The developer's engineer, KPFF Consulting Engineers, has completed improvement <br /> plans for Phase II of Bair Island Road in accordance with Redwood City Standards and <br /> to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br /> The total cost of the Phase II improvements is estimated to be $1,569,000. The <br /> developer's subcontractors have posted bonds in the amount of $1,569,000 as required <br /> by the agreement. The developer anticipates completion of the Phase II work within the <br /> next 12 months. All work associated with this project is being paid for by the developer. <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> Council may choose not to approve the agreements. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> There is no fiscal impact as a result of this action. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br /> An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared for this area under the purview of <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act.
