EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> Role of Project Manager <br /> The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for managing the Project Approval & <br /> Environmental Document (PA&ED) phase of the US Route 101/SR 84 Interchange <br /> Reconstruction Project (the "Project') for City. The PM will be responsible for provision <br /> of Project oversight, PA&ED consultant contract administration, coordination with <br /> Caltrans, the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA), and community, and <br /> reporting within and for City according to established protocols. <br /> Scope of Work t � <br /> ��.e,2�`� be.�oc� <br /> Consultant will conduct the� following tasks on a time and expenses basis up to the � <br /> estimated budget established in,� ' . Consultant is expected <br /> to supply the office, computer, or other equipment to support the successful completion <br /> of this work. <br /> A. Project Management . <br /> The PM will administer the PA&ED consultant contract, �ncluding monitoring progress, <br /> submittals, schedule, invoicing and additional services, and close out. The PM will <br /> coordinate and meet with City staff and City Council (Ad Hoc Subcommittee and entire <br /> Council), Caltrans, the TA, and community at large regarding Project activities. The PM <br /> will oversee completion of the Value Analysis (VA) Study in coordination with City staff <br /> and Caltrans. The PM will support City efforts to pursue Project funding by coordinating <br /> with City staff and officials and funding agencies and assisting in developing funding <br /> applications and supportive documents. The PM will prepare supportive documents <br /> required for coordination with permitting and approval agencies including the County, <br /> Caltrans, and UPRR. <br /> The PM will coordinate initiation of the Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) <br /> phase of work in conjunction with City, Caltrans and TA staff. This effort will include the <br /> following general efforts. <br /> • Engagement of PS&E Consultant: Either negotiate a new contract with the PA&ED <br /> consultant or conduct a new solicitation process and engage a new consultant in <br /> conjunction with City staff. Both options will ultimately require City Council processing <br /> and approvaL <br /> • Coordinate with Caltrans: Work with Caltrans and City staff to develop a new <br /> Cooperative Agreement for PS&E.
