REV: 08-05-21 SK <br />Exhibit A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Scope of Work <br />Consultant will conduct the following tasks on a time and expenses basis up to the <br />estimated budget established in Fee below. Consultant is expected to supply the office, <br />computer, or other equipment to support the successful completion of this work. <br />1. Project Management <br />Consultant will be responsible for managing continuing work on the Plans, Specifications, <br />and Estimate/Right of Way (PS&E & R/W) phase of the US Route 101/SR 84 Interchange <br />Reconstruction Project (the “Project’) for the City. Consultant will provide Project <br />oversight, PS&E & R/W consultant contract administration, coordination with Caltrans, <br />the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA), and community, and reporting within <br />and for City according to established protocols. Consultant will coordinate with Caltrans <br />and City on the development of draft maintenance and freeway agreements between <br />parties. Consultant will support City efforts to pursue Project funding by managing and <br />supporting planning, development and implementation of a funding strategy plan. This <br />will involve managing related consultant contracts for funding strategy, technical studies <br />and communications, coordinating with City staff and officials and funding agencies, and <br />assisting in developing funding applications and supportive documents. <br />Schedule <br />The Scope of Work will start on the effective date of Amendment No.6 and continue <br />through R/W support activities involving mapping and appraisals, expected to finish in <br />2022. The estimated duration of this Scope of Work is 16 months. Assuming an effective <br />date of September 1, 2021, the estimated completion date for this work is December 31, <br />2022. <br />Fee <br />Compensation for Consultant’s services shall not exceed One Hundred Seventy-One <br />Thousand Dollars ($171,000). The budget is based upon an average allowance of 60 <br />hours per month over the expected duration of approximately 16 months, and an <br />allowance of $3,000 for direct expenses related to the work. <br />All fees will be charged on a time and expenses basis commensurate with work completed <br />according to the hourly rate schedule. <br />ATTY/AGR.2021/Amend.
