Report of Phase I Environnzental Site Assessnzent June 18, 2008 <br /> PSI Project Nun2ber 865-8E039 <br /> 3 SCOPE AND RESOURCES <br /> 3.1 PHASE I ESA <br /> PSI performed a Phase I ESA of the Subject Property that generally conforms to the <br /> scope and limitations of the Practice. The assessment included four components: <br /> • Records review; <br /> • Reconnaissance; <br /> • Interviews; and, <br /> • Preparation of this report, including our evaluation. <br /> The scope of our services and the information resources accessed are detailed below. <br /> STAFF <br /> Mr. Frank Poss gathered and compiled information for this assessment, including <br /> performing the site and area reconnaissance on June 30, 2011. Mr. Poss, the <br /> supervising project Environmental Professional, supervised planning the site <br /> reconnaissance and interviews, and reviewed and interpreted the information. <br /> Credentials and qualifications of persons responsible for preparation of this report are <br /> appended. <br /> RECORDS REVIEW <br /> Physical Setting Sources <br /> PSI reviewed United States Geological Survey (USGS) Topo Maps and other <br /> information regarding the physical setting of the site to assist with the interpretation of <br /> subsurface water movement near the property. <br /> Summary <br /> Source Source Description <br /> USGS 30-Minute Topo Map "Palo Alto", 1961 photorevised 1973 <br /> Cambria Quarterly Monitoring Report, Second Quarter, 3201 EI <br /> Camino, Real, Menlo Park <br /> Notes: USGS = United States Geological Survey, FEMA= Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> Site topography is considered to generally slope to the north. PSI obtained a Quarterly <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Report for the Shell Service Station at 3201 EI Camino Real, <br /> Menlo Park, California, located approximately one-quarter mile southeast of the Subject <br /> Property, dated August 2, 2006. Groundwater was approximately 20 feet below ground <br /> surface with a flow direction to the northwest. <br /> 7 <br />
