<br /> Mr. Poss has over 25 years experience in the management of environmental site assessments, groundwater
<br /> and soil remediation projects, hazardous waste management, and subsurface investigation programs. His
<br /> experience includes supervision ofproject and staff level personnel, as well as subcontractors,implementation
<br /> of QA/QC programs and Health and Safety Programs, contractual negotiations, and budgetary management of
<br /> projects ranging from $20,000 to over $1,000,000. He serves as the lead modeler for projects should these
<br /> services is required. He has been using numerical models for two and three-dimensional flow and
<br /> contaminate transport since 1988. He has utilized models to simulate existing flow conditions and to evaluate
<br /> effectiveness of various groundwater remediation programs. He was the project manager for over $500,000
<br /> of work for the Na�y, including projects that involved underground storage tank testing projects, wetlands
<br /> studies, remedial investigation, data management, underground storage tank surveys, underground storage
<br /> tank removals and landfill assessments. The projects included work throughout the State of California.
<br /> Representative Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment Project Experience
<br /> • McDonalds; San Jose, California-Project manager for over 50 Phase I/II ESA projects associated with
<br /> future McDonalds restaurants. Typical Phase I ESA projects included completing site walk-through,
<br /> aerial photograph review, data search, regulatory interviews, file review, chain-of-title search, and report
<br /> preparation. Typical Phase II ESA projects included the collecting of soil samples as part of geotechnical
<br /> studies at the site to verify that site remediation had been completed.
<br /> • Bank of America; San Francisco, California-Project manager for over 200 Phase I ESA projects. Site
<br /> investigation included apartment buildings, strip malls, light industrial, and commercial properties. The
<br /> Phase I ESAs was typically completed within three weeks of authorization and was completed according
<br /> to standard protocol.
<br /> • Fidelity Federal Bank; Northern California-Project manager for Phase I ESAs for scheduled property
<br /> acquisition/development. Also provided consultation services as a third-party reviewer for work
<br /> performed by other consultants for the client. Completed environmental assessments on 64 properties
<br /> throughout the State of California, including Sacramento and Citrus Heights, within three weeks of
<br /> authorization. The environmental assessments were completed according to standard protocol and
<br /> included regulatory record review, site reconnaissance, aerial photograph interpretation, and report
<br /> preparation.
<br /> • Citigroup, California-Project manager for over 100 Phase I ESAs for Citigroup branch and office
<br /> buildings. The work performed included the completion of a comprehensive asbestos survey of two of
<br /> the buildings, historical records research, and interviews with on-site personnel, and aerial photograph
<br /> review.
