• �"'1'"� <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF MENLO PARK <br /> AND <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> 2072 RESURFACING OF FEDERAL AtD ROUTES PROJECT-SAND HILL ROAD <br /> AND MARSH ROAD <br /> RAISING OF VALVE COVERS TO GRADE <br /> This Agreement, entered into this �day of����13 by and between the City <br /> of Menlo Park,a Municipal Corporation of the State of Califomia, hereinafter called"CITY"and <br /> City of Redwood City, a public agency of the State of California hereinafter called"REDWOOD <br /> CITY"; and <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS,the CITY will resurtace certein streets in Its 2012 Resurtacing of Federal�4id <br /> Routes Project;and <br /> WHEREAS, valve covers within the construction limit may need to be ralsed to grade; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, REDWOOD CITY would like the work to raise the valve cove�s to grade to <br /> be done by CITY'S oontractor, and <br /> WHEREAS, the list of REDWOOD CITY's valve covers that may need to be raised to <br /> grade is shown on the Exhibit"A"attached; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED by the parties hereto, as follows: <br /> 1. The CITY will include in the contract the above mentioned work to raise all <br /> REDWOOD CITY valve covers to grade as more particularly shown in Exhibit"A". <br /> 2. The City has awarded the project to G.
