One Ci�y One Vote. Each member city has a ri�ht to cast ane vote an r3riatters pertainin� to <br /> League pa[icy. <br /> 2. Designating a City Voting Re�resentative. Prior ta ihe Annual Conference, each city <br /> council may designate a votin� delegate and up to two alternate5; tlaese individuals are <br /> identified on t�e Votii�g Delegate Farm provided to the League Credentia�s Comrnittee. <br /> 3. Registering with the Crede�tials Corr�mittee. The voting delegate, or ahemates, may <br /> pick up the city's voting card at the Voting Delegate Desk i�1 the conf�rence registration <br /> area. Voting deIegates and alternates must sign in at the Voting Delegate Desk. Here they <br /> will recei�e a special stic�ei on their name badge and thus be admitted to the voting area at <br /> the Business Meeting. <br /> �. Signing Initiated Resoiution Petitions. Qnly thos� individ�als ��ho are votin� delegates <br /> (or alternates), and ��IZa ha�re picked up #heir city s woting card by providin� a sibnatuz•e to <br /> the Credei�tials Conan�ittee at the Vating Dele��ate Desk, ma}� sign petitions to initiate a <br /> resolution. <br /> 5. Vating. Ta cast tlle city°'s vote, a city of�cial z��ust 11ave in his or her possessian the city's <br /> votiz�� card ar�d be registered with the Credentials Committe�. The �-•oting card znay �e <br /> trailsferred freely between the voting delegate and altemates, but may not be transfer�•ed to <br /> anotl�er city official who is neither a voting deiegate or alternate. <br /> 6. Voting Area at Bus'rness Meetin�. At tl�e Business Meeting, individt�als with a votii�� card <br /> will sit in a designated area. Adnlission will be limited to those individuals with a special <br /> sticker on their name badge identifying thez�� as a voting delegate or alternate. <br /> 7. Reso�ving llis�tstes. In case of dispute, the Credentials Cammittee will determine the <br /> vaiidiry of signatures an petitioned resolutions and the rigl�t of a cify official to vote at tlie <br /> Fusiness MeeCing. <br />
