Law Enforcement and Our Multilingual County'� ���� � 2 <br /> Dear Councilmembers: � ", <br /> The 2012-2013 Grand Jury filed a report on March 20, 2013 which contains findings and recommendations <br /> pertaining to your agency. Your agency must submit comments, within 90 days, to the Hon. Richard C. Livermore. <br /> Your agency's response is due no later than June 18, 2013. Please note that the response should indicate that it <br /> was approved by your governing body at a public meeting. <br /> For all findings, your responding agency shall indicate one of the following: <br /> 1. The respondent agrees with the finding. <br /> 2. The respondent disagrees wholly ar partially with the fmding, in which case the response shall specify <br /> the portion of the fmding that is disputed and shall include an explanation of the reasons therefore. <br /> Additionally, as to each Grand Jury recommendation, your responding agency shall report one of the following <br /> actions: <br /> 1. The recommendation has been implemented, with a summary regarding the implemented action. <br /> 2. The recommendation has not yet been implemented, but will be implemented in the future, with a <br /> time frame for implementation. <br /> 3. The recommendation requires further analysis, with an explanation and the scope and parameters of <br /> an analysis or study, and a time frame for the matter to be prepared for discussion by the officer or <br /> director of the agency ar department being investigated or reviewed, including the goveming body of <br /> the public agency when applicable. This time frame shall not exceed six months from the date of <br /> ' publication of the Grand Jury report. <br /> 4.
