8.A. - Page 26 <br /> Solid Waste <br /> "Solid Waste" means all putrescible and nonputrescible solid, semisolid, and <br /> liquid wastes, as defined in California Public Resources Code §40191, as that <br /> section may be amended from time to time. For the purposes of this Agreement, <br /> "Solid Waste" does not include abandoned vehicles and parts thereof, Hazardous <br /> Waste or low-level radioactive waste, medical waste, Recyclable Materials, or <br /> Plant Materials. <br /> Term <br /> "Term"means the period of time specified in Article 4 of this Agreement. <br /> Transfer <br /> "Transfer" means the process of transferring Solid Waste from collection vehicles <br /> to transfer vehicles. <br /> Transport <br /> "Transport" means the transportation of Solid Waste in either collection or <br /> transfer vehicles. <br /> Uniform Franchise Agreement <br /> "Uniform Franchise Agreement" means the franchise agreement negotiated by the <br /> SBWMA with BFI Waste Systems of North America, Inc. or its successor, for the <br /> Collection of Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials, and Plant Materials in each <br /> Agency, as amended. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2013/AMENDMENTS/AMEND N0.2 SBWMA JPA AGREEMENT <br /> REV: 06-10-13 PT <br /> Page 21 of 24 <br />
