6.1.E. - Page 19 <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this 28 day of August <br /> , <br /> 2012 , by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter cailed "County," <br /> and CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, serving as fiscal agent for Redwood City 2020 <br /> hereinafter called "Contractor"; <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may <br /> contract with independent contractors for the fumishing of such services to or for <br /> County or any Department thereof; <br /> WHEREAS. it is necessary and desirable that Contractor be retained for the <br /> purpose of the professional services hereinafter described for the Health System, <br /> Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Division. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Serv�ces to be tserformed bv Contractor <br /> In consideration of the payments set forth herein and in Exhibit B, Contractor shall <br /> perform the services as set for#h in this Agreement� in the Alcohol and Qther Drug <br /> Services Policy and Procedure Manual and in the Exhibits and Attachments to the <br /> Agreement. <br /> 3. Pavrnents <br /> In consideration of the services provided by Contractor in accordance with all terms, <br /> conditions and specifications set forth herein, in Exhibit A, and in the A{cohol and <br /> Other Drug Services Policy and Procedure Manual, County shall make payment to <br /> Contractor based on the rates and in the manner specified in Exhibit B and I <br /> attachments herein for the contract term.
