MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> October 22~ 2001 <br /> M.O. 01-154 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: October 23, 2001 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br /> Planning <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Public hearing on the appeal of the decision made by the <br /> Architectural Review Committee (ARC) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on October 22, 2001. <br />Present: Cotmcilmember Ira, Pierce, Jordan, Howard, and Vice Mayor Claire. <br />Absent: Hartnett and Mayor Ruskin <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carded and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br />MS Howard/Ira Recommendation: Uphold the decision of the ARC to enforce the Sign <br />Ordinance (therefore denying the architectural permit exception) by amortizing the <br />existing freestanding sign seven years from the adoption of the Sign Ordinance <br />(scheduled removal by June 2006 per Section 3.130d). <br /> <br />The motion passed by a majority roll call vote by all those present. <br /> <br />Patricia S.
