EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> CONSULTANT shall provide professional plan check and inspection services on an on- <br /> call basis to assist the City's Community Development Department with land <br /> development review, permitting of private development, and inspection of private <br /> development and capital improvement projects. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES: <br /> The scope of service includes but is not limited to the following activities: <br /> Development Plan Review, Permittinq, and Map Review <br /> • Review of new or proposed amendments to specific plans, tentative maps, <br /> planned development zoning, and other development entitlement applications. <br /> • Review final maps, improvement and landscape plans. Review includes <br /> evaluation of required reports, studies, grading and improvement plans, and <br /> design professional's recommendations. Confirm that plans conform to City <br /> standard design criteria, conditions of approval, and infrastructure or other <br /> master plans. <br /> • Each plan review will be accompanied with a letter summarizing the red-line <br /> comments addressed to the applicanYs engineer or landscape architect, with a <br /> copy to City staff and the applicant. A complete red-lined set of drawings and any <br /> reports will be returned to the design professional for use in their corrections. <br /> • The Project Manager will meet with the applicant/representative and City staff to <br /> review comments or to delineate the standards which are not being met to assist <br /> in the timely completion of the review and meeting the maximum goal of two plan <br /> reviews. <br /> • The Project Manager will adjust and/or develop the plan check list to meet the <br /> criteria as required by the City of Redwood City. <br /> • Soils reports will be evaluated and confirmation of recommendations will be <br /> included on the plans. Boundary conditions will be evaluated to maintain <br /> continuity with surrounding properties and maintain existing drainage patterns. <br /> � Construction erosion control and post construction water quality control will be <br /> reviewed for compliance with the storm water quality management permit in <br /> effect for the City. <br /> • Assist City with development of conditions of approval, development agreements, <br /> and other requirements associated with development applications. Assist City in <br /> negotiations with developers regarding terms of agreements or conditions. <br /> • Confirm that developer has obtained necessary permits or approvals from other <br /> public agencies as needed, and that plans conform to city's NPDES Municipal <br /> Regional Permit requirements for storm water treatment and retention. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2013/AMENDMENTS/AMEND NO.2 CSG CONSULTANTS INC.COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> REV:12-17-13 VR <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br />
