� __ i � . � �.� _ _ <br /> • Assist in research and document preparation, such as plats, maps, legal descriptions and <br /> findings,by a licensed surveyor to support summary and regular street vacations and city property <br /> disposition according to City Municipal Ordinance, Subdivision Map Act and California Streets and <br /> Highway Code. <br /> Inspection <br /> • Coordinate all project related information with City staff <br /> • Document project progress, report non-compliance and prepare daily site inspection report <br /> • Oversee special testing and inspection work as required. <br /> • Assist in verifying compliance with city and state labor requirements related to wages and safety <br /> • Measure and verify quantities of work and review progress payment requests <br /> • Assist in reviewing submittals, RFIs, Change Orders and Claims. <br /> • Prepare as-built record drawings. <br /> • Prepare punch lists and conduct final inspections. <br /> Qualitv Control/Qualitv Assurance <br /> • The Project Manager will meet with other Redwood City staff and outside agencies,as needed,to <br /> review their progress and/or their comments. <br /> • A licensed Civil Engineer will review a sampling of plans to assure quality of work. <br /> • An Engineering Manager will meet with the City Engineer of Redwood City or his designated staff, <br /> as needed, but at least once per year,to review work quality and consultant performance. <br /> Staffina <br /> • All plan reviews will be conducted by a licensed civil engineer in the State of California or under <br /> the supervision of a licensed civil engineer. <br /> • Each plan review is assigned to a design plan reviewer with oversight of the project manager. The <br /> assigned design plan reviewer will be�committed to the project and will furnish all subsequent <br /> submittal reviews for the project. <br /> • Provide structural engineers to assist in any structural reviews,for any of the assigned projects. <br /> • Map checking will be overseen by professional engineers licensed to practice land surveying in <br /> the State of California or by licensed Land Surveyors. <br /> PAYMENT TERMS: <br /> Consultant shall charge the standard hourly rates for services, as stated in Exhibit B.
