He also stated Committee's intention to form a continuin; <br />committee to meet and keep current :in modernization of utilities. <br />Councilman Royer questioned flood problem on Canyon Road, and -v,,as advised by City <br />r7anager of t? e private nature of the situation in whicl�� ho felt City should not <br />become involved as risic for liability. <br />Councilman Bury questioned status of proposed Grading Ordinance, and was advised by <br />C i_ty Manager that Department Heads intereti ted were to meet and go over the final <br />draft, after which he would send final draft to Peninsula General. Contractors <br />Association for their study before presentation to Council. for consideration. <br />Tlayor Rosselli expressed concern at length. of time requested for. Closing -Out Sale of <br />y <br />ntac & Mac, 2114 Broadway. City tanager advised of sizable amount of inventory <br />involved and also of its being type of inventory which was difficult to control. <br />Councilman Weymouth recommended compromise on length of time for sale to February <br />15th, instead of February 28th. Councilman Granger recommended limiting sale to <br />thirty days, and they request additional time if necessary. Action deferred to <br />regular meeting. <br />CIty ',Tanager explained request of Planning Commission that public hearing on their <br />Resolution of intention for amendment concerning parking requirements be referred <br />back for further study andhearin;, be continued. <br />Councilman Granger asked Minuted of December 20th be amended to state he requested <br />practice of '.eepin a record of veterans killed or wounded in action be .na:intained <br />for Viet Ilam war ox)eration. <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting <br />Redwood City Council <br />January 3, _1966 :00 P.
