<br />Minutes of Regular Monthly Study Meeting
<br />Redwood City Council
<br />February 14, 1966 7:30 P.M.
<br />Mayor Rosselli called the meeting to order at 7:30 P. M.
<br />Pledge of Allegiance led by Girl Scouts, Donna Baldini, Laura Baldini, Colleen Hegarty,
<br />Betty Jean Le Chevalier, and Gayle Salter, of Troop $1805, Henry Ford School.
<br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Robert H. Bury, Floyd D.
<br />Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, Herbert G. Petersen, ,%Tilliam H. Royer, Ray A. Weymouth,
<br />Mayor John S. Rosselli and City Clerk Helen C. Moore. Also noted present were
<br />City Manager Howard C. Ullrich, City Attorney Richard E. Gardella, Deputy Police
<br />Chief Theodore Moudakas, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, Senior Planner Speer
<br />McClellan, Zoning Coordinator William Shackelford, Building Inspector S. H.
<br />Kreiss, Traffic Engineer Arthur U. Eskelin, and Deputy City Clerk Marian McCrindle.
<br />Councilman Granger :roved to approve Minutes of Regular Meeting of February 7, 1966,
<br />as mailed, seconded by Councilman Bury and carried.
<br />Mayor Rosselli commented on Public Information Clinics held on Redwood Shores this
<br />past week and question raised as to how many more meetints a,()uld be called if
<br />necessary.
<br />City Manager and Project Manager, Howard Ullrich, reported attendance record of
<br />public clinics as being approximately 32 the first night and for second clinic 23,
<br />including repeats from first meeting. He stated he had asked Dave Miller, Vice
<br />President of DMJM, and Jim Reiter, Project Manager for DMJM, to report to Council
<br />with digest of typical questions raised at the Clinics and how they were answered.
<br />Dave Miller reported on method followed at clinics by
<br />DMJM Staff for presentation of facts to public and material
<br />provided in way of extensive slides and other visual aides
<br />in support of oral review of facts, and of their willingness
<br />to be available for further discussion if felt necessary by
<br />Council. He advised questions raised concerning school
<br />study should be held until after presentation of the School
<br />Report to the Advisory Committee on Friday of this week,
<br />but felt Council should be given basic summary at this time
<br />of questions asked by those in attendance at the clinics.
<br />Jim Reiter, Project Manager for DMJM, stated basic elements
<br />of questions were four in nature covering (1) recommendations
<br />made regarding District Assessor; (2) Limitations on District
<br />
