Pinnninq Director spoke of his review of the <br />Downtown Plan now completed and of his discussions hold with various members of <br />the Committee and the Planning Commission. <br />Major Rosselli expressed concern qt delay in proceeding to act under the Downtown <br />Plan and felt plan should be revitalized. <br />Planning; Director stated main characteristic of Plan vas that it is a ion` range <br />plan and reflects the best current thinVing about the future. He n1so men- <br />tioned the Plan having been amended in 1965 when Redwood Shores General Plan dopted <br />by the Council and of how this Downtown Plan too, would ba considered another amend- <br />ment, until eventually a full upd�.t:�d Nister Plan could be completed with continual <br />uplyting theroaftor.
