EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> Engineering support services associated with Redwood Tower Development Project. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES: <br /> Consultant agrees to provide professional civil engineering and project coordination efforts to <br /> support City's interest in the development of Block 1 and 2 including but not limited to <br /> preparation of plat maps, legal descriptions and preparation of a Final Parcel Map. <br /> Basic Services -Set Fee <br /> Task 1- Civil Enqineerinq Coordination Services <br /> Project Coordination <br /> Consultant shall prepare Plat and Legal description associated with Block 1 and 2 in <br /> coordination with and at the direction of the City of Redwood City Staff. Scope includes <br /> the preparation of Plat and Legal description, at City's direction, for parcel associated <br /> with Union Pacific Railroad rights. <br /> Task 2-Survev& Mappina <br /> 2.1 Plat and Legal Descriptions (City of Redwood City Block 2—Area) <br /> Consultant shall provide surveying services associated with preparation of Legal <br /> descriptions and Plat for Block 2 area, which includes both the larger parcel to be <br /> conveyed to Hunter Properties in the future and the smaller triangular piece at the north <br /> end of the project that will remain in the control of the City of Redwood City. <br /> 2.2 Plat and Legal Description (220 O.R. 402 underlying Union Pacific Railroad rights) <br /> Consultant shall provide surveying services associated with preparation of Legal <br /> descriptions and Plat for Block 2 area, specifically the parcel associated with underlying <br /> Union Pacific Railroad rights at the Playground area of the 220 O.R. 402 deed area. <br /> 2.3 Final Map— Parcel Map for Block 1, 2 and Right of Way <br /> Consultant shall prepare and submit a Parcel Map to the City of Redwood City for review <br /> and recordation. The mapping shall be prepared per City subdivision requirements and <br /> in compliance with the State of California Subdivision Map Act. The mapping shall show <br /> the resolved boundary information for the main portion of the site and also the <br /> configuration of the new lots. Consultant shall also prepare closure calculations for <br /> submittal to the City with the map. A title report for the project will be provided by the <br /> City. Property corners and monuments are not included; Consultant shall base final <br /> Parcel Map and all callouts upon the existing monumentation along the centerline of <br /> Middlefield Avenue, Hamilton Street or Winslow Street. No additional centerline <br /> monuments shall be required. <br /> The services associated with the Final Parcel Map do not include monument <br /> preservation associated with construction activities along Middlefield Avenue, Hamilton <br /> Street or Winslow Street.
