EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Engineering support services associated with Redwood Tower Development Project. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Consultant agrees to provide professional civil engineering and project coordination efforts to support City's interest in the development of Block 1 and 2 including but not limited to preparation of plat maps, legal descriptions and preparation of a Final Parcel Map. Basic Services -Set Fee Task 1- Civil Enqineerinq Coordination Services Project Coordination Consultant shall prepare Plat and Legal description associated with Block 1 and 2 in coordination with and at the direction of the City of Redwood City Staff. Scope includes the preparation of Plat and Legal description, at City's direction, for parcel associated with Union Pacific Railroad rights. Task 2-Survev& Mappina 2.1 Plat and Legal Descriptions (City of Redwood City Block 2—Area) Consultant shall provide surveying services associated with preparation of Legal descriptions and Plat for Block 2 area, which includes both the larger parcel to be conveyed to Hunter Properties in the future and the smaller triangular piece at the north end of the project that will remain in the control of the City of Redwood City. 2.2 Plat and Legal Description (220 O.R. 402 underlying Union Pacific Railroad rights) Consultant shall provide surveying services associated with preparation of Legal descriptions and Plat for Block 2 area, specifically the parcel associated with underlying Union Pacific Railroad rights at the Playground area of the 220 O.R. 402 deed area. 2.3 Final Map— Parcel Map for Block 1, 2 and Right of Way Consultant shall prepare and submit a Parcel Map to the City of Redwood City for review and recordation. The mapping shall be prepared per City subdivision requirements and in compliance with the State of California Subdivision Map Act. The mapping shall show the resolved boundary information for the main portion of the site and also the configuration of the new lots. Consultant shall also prepare closure calculations for submittal to the City with the map. A title report for the project will be provided by the City. Property corners and monuments are not included; Consultant shall base final Parcel Map and all callouts upon the existing monumentation along the centerline of Middlefield Avenue, Hamilton Street or Winslow Street. No additional centerline monuments shall be required. The services associated with the Final Parcel Map do not include monument preservation associated with construction activities along Middlefield Avenue, Hamilton Street or Winslow Street. If monument preservation services are required they may be provided by the construction contractor or others or BKF Engineering, Inc. as an additional service and only upon prior written authorization by City or City representative.
