This <br /> would reduce the potentiaf damage and keep the vessel from camplete(y burning <br /> and being a total loss. <br /> • Apply protective coating to the exterior that delays cvrrosian and extends the <br /> service time of the firebaat. Sharks hide protectian is manualiy applied and ' <br /> extends the exterior life of the boat. Appiying the seafer adds an addifionaf ` <br /> � <br /> proEection ta keep maintenance cost down. <br /> • Mee#s inland waterways requiremen#s far bilge water waste management 2. The <br /> initial bilge calfection systern called for pans and manually removing #he oi( and <br /> fuel from the engine room, This cauld potentially spill in their removal. The bilge <br /> kieen system cleans the bilge water and pumps it ta the outside without the <br /> possibi(i#y af spilfing engine and pump f�uids to #he en�ironment. They would stay <br /> ` contained in a filter.
