M/S Pierce/Seybert to approve the staff's recommendations adding concepts referred to
by Council Members and speakers. These include: finding means to include the whole
community; consider balancing the needs of all; creating a broad vision and developing a
decision making process that allows for consensus building while being inclusive but not
losing momentum. The motion also includes somehow including the input from the entire
community and utilizing the concept of at large stake holders, and returning with some
options around broader workshops. It was also noted that consideration should be given
whether to include people from other areas. Two Council Members wanted to include
Lyngso and Granite Rock in the project plan area.
