He <br /> offered to answer Council questions, but there were none at this time. <br /> Jim Dombroski, the attorney representing the four appellants, said he has submitted a <br /> letter (on file) to the Council and outlined the reasons for their appeal which included the <br /> following: concern for fair competition; fair gasoline prices in accordance with California <br /> law that gas cannot be sold below cost; taking a common sense approach regarding <br /> traffic, air quality, and possible consequences for smaller businesses. <br /> Tom Saberi, owner of a small gas station on Woodside Road, spoke against the <br /> proposed expansion as detrimental to all other gas stations in Redwood City.
