MSR:lt:10/10/73 <br /> Oct 15, 73 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7017 ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br /> NINE TRUCKS; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6996, adopted September 17, <br /> 1973, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of nine <br /> trucks, to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, PRINDLE INTERNATIONAL, INC. , Redwood City, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equip- <br /> ment, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award <br /> said bid to Prindle International, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Prindle International, Inc. , in the total <br /> net delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Forty-six <br /> Thousand Five Hundred Sixteen and 35/100 Dollars ($46,516.35) , <br /> for the furnishing of nine trucks, in accordance with the specifi- <br /> cations therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> of said equipment. <br /> 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
