CGM:sg:10/30/73 <br /> ` ORIGINAL <br /> KU g 73 `. <br /> RE S OLUT I ON NO. .` 035 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br /> ONE HIGH PRESSURE AIR RESERVOIR; AND REJECTING ALL <br /> OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7011 adopted October 1, <br /> 1973, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> High Pressure Air Reservoir, to be used for municipal purposes; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, RIX INDUSTRIES, Emeryville, California, is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> bid to Rix Industries; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Rix Industries in the total net delivered <br /> price to the City of Redwood City of Two Thousand Seven Hundred <br /> Nine and 24/100 Dollars ($2, 709.24) , for the furnishing of one <br /> High Pressure Air Reservoir, in accordance with the specifications <br /> therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared <br /> to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> equipment. <br /> 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> * * * <br />
