MSR:sg:11/1/73 <br /> I <br /> °M G M.. <br /> .r► Nov g 73 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 7038 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF CHAIRS, <br /> TABLES, TABLE CADDIES AND CHAIR CARTS; AND REJECTING ALL <br /> OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7028, adopted October 15, <br /> 1973, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of chairs, <br /> tables, table caddies and chair carts, to be used for municipal <br /> purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, KELLY BUSINESS FURNITURE, INC. , San Mateo, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid <br /> to Kelly Business Furniture, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Kelly Business Furniture, Inc. , in the total <br /> net delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Six Thousand, <br /> Two Hundred Fifty Five and 85/100 Dollars ($6, 255.85) , for the <br /> furnishing of chairs, tables, table ,caddies and chair carts, in <br /> accordance with the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and <br /> said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3. Any and all other bids received the City of Redwood City <br /> for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other than the <br /> bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> * * * <br />
