NOV 5 lift <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 7039 5 '73 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br /> FIVE FM TWO-WAY RADIOS; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br /> RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7000 adopted September 17, <br /> 1973, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of five <br /> FM two-way radios, to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, MOTOROLA, INC. , San Mateo, California, is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, and it is <br /> the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br /> Motorola, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Motorola, Inc. , in the total net delivered <br /> price to the City of Redwood City of Five Thousand Five Hundred <br /> Thirty and 61/100 Dollars ($5,530.61) , for the furnishing of five <br /> FM two-way radios, in accordance with the specifications therefor, <br /> is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
