MSR:sg:ll/8/73 <br /> • ORIGINAL <br /> 12 <br /> 1 7 <br /> RES OLUT ION NO. ` 048 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE LANDSCAPING OF FAIR <br /> OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7029, adopted October 15, <br /> 1973, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of land- <br /> scaping for Fair Oaks Community Center in the City of Redwood City; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed with <br /> the City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, Brown Landscaping Company, Redwood City, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to award said contract to Brown Landscaping Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Brown Landscaping Company, in the total amount of <br /> Nineteen Thousand Four Hundred Forty-five and no/100 Dollars ($19,445.00) , <br /> more or less, computed in accordance with bidder' s accepted proposal <br /> dated November 6, 1973, for the construction of landscaping for Fair <br /> Oaks Community Center in the City of Redwood City, in accordance with <br /> the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the <br /> City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be <br /> the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated November 8, 1.973) , by <br /> and between the City of Redwood City and Brown Landscaping Company, <br /> for the performance of the aforesaid work in accordance with and subject <br /> to the terms and conditions of the above mentioned specifications and <br />
