__ _ __ .W..._.�. �- <br /> WHEREAS, this Council duly rlet And convened at said time and <br /> place for �the purpose of hearing and passing upon all protests to <br /> said proposed annexation, and also at the time�s} and place(s) to <br /> which such hearin� was continued, and did at the rearing in open <br /> public session ask f or protests, if any, to the proposed annexation <br /> and gave all persons full opportunity to protest sai d annexation <br /> and received evidence relevant to such annexation; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council at the time of said heari ng found and <br /> determined that protests to the proposed annexation of the herein- <br /> after described territory to the City o�' Redwood City had not 'peen <br /> made by owners of one�-half of the value of said t erritory as shown <br /> by the last equalized assessment roll az' the County of San I�ateos <br /> California, nor by public owners equal to one-half of the value of <br /> public property within said territory as said value has been deter» <br /> mined by said Council; <br /> IdOW, TNEREFOr�E, the Council of' the City of Redwood City does <br /> hereby approve the annexation to the City of Redwood City of all <br /> the territory designated as "Bresso Annexation" and hereinafter <br /> described, an d does �lso hereby ordain that said territory be and <br /> is hereby annexed to the City of Redwood City. The above men- <br /> tioned territory which is designated as "Brssso Annexation" is <br /> all that territory situate in the County of San Nateo, State of <br /> California, described as f ollows : <br /> All of Lot 7, �31ock 2 as designa.ted on that map entitled <br /> "Woodacre Knolls, San I�ateo County California't filed <br /> September 15, 19?�., in the o�'fice of the Recorder of <br /> San Mateo County California in Book 11 of M� s at Pages <br /> 69 and 70, being more particularly 3escribed as follows : <br /> BEGITdNING at the intersection of tha easterlg line o�' <br /> Woodside Road, b6.00 feet in width with the southerly <br /> line of Santa Clara Avenue , b0.00 feet in width; THEPTCE, <br /> South 21° 191 ��iest along said easterly line of Woodside <br /> Road, said easterly line also being the city limit lina <br /> of the City of Redwood City as said city limit line is <br /> -3- <br />
