<br />. ,. <br /> The following people spoke in favor of the City subsidizing the Lincoln <br /> Park Condominiums 64 affordable housing units: <br /> John Dustin, 26 Pinehurst Lane, Half Moon Bay, consultant to the Lincoln <br />--- Park Condominiums project, described need for affordable housing in Redwood <br /> City and funding of subject project. <br /> Alan Parker, P. O. Box 1024, Moss Beach, consultant to the Lincoln Park <br /> Condominiums project, distributed a letter requesting Council to encourage <br /> the Agency to continue to negotiate in good faith and not stop progress on <br /> this win-win proposition. <br /> Dennis Siden, 20 Vista Verde Way, Portola Valley, Lincoln Park Condominiums <br /> developer, described land costs, pro formas, prices of finished units, and <br /> requested Council to continue the negotiation process. <br /> Council discussed choices and impacts of available and future funding <br /> capacities; requested subsidies and impacts; use of set-asides; cost of <br /> the land and comparable land acquisitions; costs of fees and permits; tax <br /> allocations and mortgage revenue bonding authority; cost per unit versus <br /> price; limited condemnation in Redevelopment Area; ABAG projections; and <br /> Council desire to provide affordable housing units. <br /> MIS: GreenalchlMurray to schedule further discussion on this project at <br /> the Study Session on June 3, 1991 and direct staff and developers to be <br /> prepared to address questions raised by Agency Directors, and present <br /> clear and complete financial information on the proposed Lincoln Park <br />I Condominiums project. <br />I Carried by unanimous voice vote.
