Status Report on Sequoia Station <br /> <br />/ David Irmer, Sequoia Station Developers, Inc., presented a brief history <br />i and description of the Sequoia Station development for the Woodside High <br />L-- School students and others in the audience. <br /> <br />Architect Edward Gee described the architectural renderings and details of <br />the project, including: the plaza, Safeway, Longs, Fresh Choice, Garcias, <br />the bookstore and other retail shops and offices, plus the emphasis on <br />outdoor meeting and eating areas. Mr. Gee also described the issues <br />involving the land purchases, the garage, the culvert and the expected <br />timetable. <br /> <br />Executive Director Church reported on the CTC Meeting scheduled for <br />October and invited Council Members to attend. <br /> <br />Council Members discussed CTC Meeting and need for support from local <br />representatives and how to get them involved. <br /> <br />Robert English, Woodside High School student, resident of Redwood City, <br />asked the cost of the Sequoia Station project. <br /> <br />Executive Director Church described the involvement of the private <br />developer, Sequoia Station Developers, Inc. and ~so CalTrans, CalTrain, <br />the City, the Redevelopment Agency and others, in coordinating this <br />$42,000,000 project wi th approximately $30,000,000 for the Sequoi a Center <br />itself.
