-Commissioner Redington commented on the Arts Star Awards Luncheon <br /> honoring Commissioner Piulle, Elena Mori and Henry Use. He said he also <br /> attended the Citizen of the Year Dinner and the opening of the gallery at the <br /> Art Center attended by over 1,500 people. <br /> -Chairperson Filippi asked that the Commission hold a Special Meeting this <br /> month to discuss several topics including the Miss Redwood City Pageant <br /> grant, budget, and a review/preview brainstorming session. The <br /> Commissioners decided to meet on Thursday, March 24 at 11:30am. <br /> Superintendent Hartman will find a location and notify the Commissioners. <br /> -Superintendent Hartman announced the California Congress of the Arts Day <br /> will be held on April 19-20 in Sacramento. She also reviewed an article from <br /> the California Arts Advocate which made recommendations for an anti- <br /> crime program featuring the arts. <br /> -Superintendent Hartman announced the April meeting of the Cultural <br /> Commission will be held at the Veterans Memorial Building rather than the <br /> Community Activities Building. <br /> -The Commissioners were reminded that their Form 730-Conflict of Interest <br /> Forms are due by March 31, 1994. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 9:30pm in the memory of Martin johnson to be reconvened at 11:30am on <br /> Thursday, March 24, 1994 at the Art Center, 1007 Middlefield Road, Redwood <br /> City, California. <br />
