-Commissioner Ball thanked Commissioner Piulle and Superintendent <br /> Hartman for their budget presentation to the City Council. <br /> -Chairperson Redington said he spoke to Mr. Douglass concerning the status <br /> of Douglass Hall. He also attended the Art Center Open House recently and <br /> the opening of the new transit center. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -It was noted that the attendance at the Paragon Point concert was very poor <br /> and only had 25 people in attendance. <br /> -Supervisor Hannon announced the concert at Sequoia High School this <br /> Sunday, August 6 from 1:00-3:OOpm. <br /> -Superintendent Hartman said 435 name tags were given out at Families Arts <br /> Day. She said it was a well attended event and thanked the Commissioners <br /> who worked in the information booth. <br /> M/S Filippi/Saye: To extend the meeting another 5 minutes. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> M/S Filippi/Distefano: That all future funding recipients provide passes for <br /> the Civic Cultural Commissioners to evaluate and review <br /> performances. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 10:05pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, September 7, 1995 to be <br /> held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, <br /> Redwood City, California. <br />
