• Commissioner Fischer attended the Intergenerational Easter Egg Hunt at the <br /> Veterans Memorial Senior Center. Everyone was extremely well mannered and <br /> it was a wonderful event. <br /> • Vice Chair Filippi also attended "Dreamscape" and was disturbed by the actions <br /> of the children so he called the principal who made some changes for the next <br /> performance. He also reported that the Sequoia High School Band has nearly <br /> doubled and the music program improved. He also acknowledged Chairperson <br /> Piulle being featured at the R.C. Art Center. He mentioned that he is working <br /> with the Intergenerational Program to have a Senior/John Gill children's dance <br /> and he will be getting a band together with the Seniors. <br /> • Commissioner Distefano also mentioned the Intergenerational Egg Hunt and <br /> she talked about a positive experience visiting the classroom afterwards. <br /> • Commissioner Redington mentioned the Oratorical Contest by the Optimist <br /> Club featuring students from McKinley School. <br /> • Chairperson Piulle went to see "Damn Yankees" at the Fox Theater and was very <br /> impressed with the quality of the performance. She also attended the Art Center <br /> ceremony for the art contest sponsored by the Redwood City School Foundation. <br /> • Commissioner Saye attended "Dreamscape" and mentioned his enjoyment of it. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> • Commissioner Ball said that she had talked with Pat Valentine, the City <br /> Manager's Secretary, who said the the R.C. Update has been discontinued. <br /> She also announced that her niece was featured in the latest issue of Martha <br /> Stewart's magazine. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at 9:10 p.m. <br /> to be reconvened at the Special Meeting on Thursday, April 11, 1996 to be held at the <br /> Red Morton Community Cenfer, 1120 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br />
