Civic Cu/tura/Commission Pege 4 <br /> Minutes of October 14, 1999 <br /> Commissioner Britschgi referred to her earlier camments and the Commission <br /> discussion regarding the public art ordinance and her conversation with Joan <br /> Jordan regarding art in the new theater development. <br /> iTEM 6 - EVALUATIDN OF CULTURAL EVENTS HELD OVER THE PAST 30 <br /> DAYS <br /> The Commissioners attended the following cultural events held over the past <br /> 30 days: <br /> Commissioner Schenone - Attended Hay Fever at Canada College <br /> Commissioner Saye - Studio S Performance at Canada College <br /> Commissioner Del Carlo - Trivia Bee, Downtown Festival <br /> Commissioner B�itschgi - San Carlos Art Fair, A Legion of Honor Exhibit, the <br /> Climate Best Fest, and the Stafford Park Opening <br /> Commissioner Dale - Olive Festival at Canada College, Forever Plaid by the <br /> Palo Alto Players, Trivia Bee, and the Sharks Opening Night <br /> Chai�person Redington - Meeting hosted by Mayor for all Commission <br /> Chairs. He noted he found the meeting a wealth of information and <br /> particularly app�eciated the Port presentation. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 9:10 p.m. to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, November 4, 1999 at <br /> the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
