Civic Cultural Commission Page 4 <br /> Minutes of June 2, 1999 <br /> Commissioner Pierce received a catl from Dr. Stanley Easter of the Canada <br /> College Jazz Band who expressed an interest in his group performing on July <br /> 2 or 23. The Commissioners discussed this matter and decided to have <br /> Commissioner Pierce call him back and suggest that he contact the San <br /> Mateo Historical Museum as a possible venue. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Superintendent Centeno reported the Tall Ships event will happen this <br /> weekend at the Port; the Happy Time Banjos will be performing on Saturday <br /> from 1 :00-3:OOpm. Chairperson Redington noted that the Commission was <br /> omitted from the flyers as a sponsor of the event. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 9:45pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, July 1, 1999 at the <br /> Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
