Exhibit A <br /> STANFORD IN REDWOOD CITY PR�CIS� PLAN <br /> SfGNIFICANT �NVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS <br /> The follawing findings, including impact statements, mitigation measures, findings and facts in <br /> support of findings, are based on the full adminis#rati�e record, including, but not limited to, the <br /> Final �IR, which contains a fuller discussion of each issue. <br /> A�r uali <br /> Impact: Impact 8-1: Construction-Related Air Quality Impsats• Project-related <br /> demolition and construction activities would generate exhaust emissions and <br /> fugiti�e dust. These emissions would not subject sensitive receptors to <br /> substantia! pollu#an# concentrations, bu# emissions of ROG and NOx could <br /> exceed BAAQMD daily significance thresholds. <br /> Mitigation: Mitigation 8-1. Far al! project-related grading, demolition, or construction <br /> activity, constructian contractors shall implement the foElowing mitigation <br /> measures, where applicable: <br /> (a) BAAQMD�Recommended Measures#or All General Construction <br /> Activities:� <br /> 1. All exposed surfaces (e.g., parking areas, stag+ng areas, soil piles, graded <br /> areas, and unpaved access roads} shall be watered two times per day. <br /> 2. All haul trucks transporting soil, sand, or other loase material off-site shall <br /> be covered. <br /> 3. All visible mud or dirt track-out anto adjacent public raads shall be removed <br /> using wet power vacuum street sweepers at least once per day. The use of dry <br /> power sweeping is prohibited. <br /> 4. All vehicle spesds an unpaved raads s�alf be limited to 15 mph, <br /> 5. All roadways, dr�veways, and sidewalks to be paved shall be completed as <br /> soon as possibEe. Building pads shall be laid as soon as possible af�er grading <br /> unless seeding or soil binders are used. <br /> $. Idling tirrtes shall be minimized either by shutt+ng equipment Qff when not in <br /> use or reducing the rnaximum idling time to 5 minutes (as required by the <br /> California airborne toxics control measure Title 13, Section 2485 of California <br /> Code of Regulations [CCR]). Clear signage shall be provided for constructian <br /> workers at ail access points. <br /> 7. All construction equipment shall be maintained and �roperly tuned in <br /> accvrdance with manufacturer`s specifications.
