a,7.A. - Page 13 <br /> "CEQA") and the Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality <br /> Act (Title 14, Sections 15000 et seq. of the California Code of Regulations; hereafter, <br /> the "CEQA Guidelines"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the DEIR was released for a 45 day public review/ comment period <br /> beginning on January 26, 2012 and ending on March 12, 2012, and the Draft EIR was <br /> filed with the State Office of Planning & Research under State Clearinghouse No. <br /> 2008102023; and <br /> WHEREAS, the DEIR for the Stanford in Redwood City Project identified that the <br /> Project would have potential significant impacts in the areas of transportation, air quality <br /> (construction), utilities, hazards and hazardous materials, noise, cultural and historic <br /> resources and geology and soils. All of these impacts can be mitigated to less-than- <br /> significant levels in conformance with applicable standard measures and project-level <br /> mitigation measures identified in the EIR except for the significant unavoidable <br /> transportation, air quality and historic resource impacts identified in the DEIR and <br /> summarized below: <br /> A. Transportation - Intersection and freeway segment impacts: <br /> 1. Impact 7-1: Woodside Rd./Broadway Intersection (Existing Plus <br /> P roj ect); <br /> 2. Impact 7-2: Woodside Rd./Bay Rd.
