Acceptance of the Fiscal Year 2012 Pre-Disaster Mitigation Competitive <br /> Grant Award from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) <br /> and the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal <br /> OES/EMA) to the City of Redwood City for seismic retrofits of the City <br /> Water System <br /> Staff contact: Phong Du, Senior Civil Engineer 780-7385 pdu@redwoodcity.org <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Adopt a resolution: <br /> 1. Accepting the FY2012 Pre-Disaster Mitigation Competitive Grant Award <br /> of $1,952,760 for a total project budget of $2,603,380 from the Federal <br /> Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Governor's <br /> Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES/EMA); and authorizing the City <br /> Manager to execute the Grant Award Agreement and related contract <br /> documents. <br /> 2.
