EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Inspection services for the Wharf Project. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Contractor shall provide the following services: � Understand the project and be familiar with the contract documents, City's standards and Caltrans standards. • Effectively communicate with the contractor, public and other stakeholders • Coordinate all project related information with City staff by providing timely information, insights and solutions as confli�ts and problems arise. • Take digital photos of each stage of construction throughout the duration of a project. • Prepare and distribute written daily inspection reports. Daily field reports shall have all pertinent irrformation, including labor, equipment(including idles), item of work, any change order worlc and accurate hours associated with it and daily quantity measurements. • Oversee special testing and inspection work as required. • Report instances of apparent non-compliance to the City's Project Manager for resolution. • Verify prevailing wages, payroll information and handle other labor compliance items when requested by the City. • Measure and agree upon quantities on a daily basis, and verify progress payments. • Deliver RFIs and submittals to the City's Project Manager. • Check as-built record drawings for accuracy. • Prepare punch lists and conduct final inspection. PAYMENT TERMS: Contractor shall charge a standard hourly rate of$110/per hour for inspection services on an as- needed basis, not to exceed Twelve Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($12,850.00). Contractor's bill shall include the following information for the project: a brief description of services performed, the date the services were performed, the number of hours spent and by whom. In no event shall Contractor submit any billing for an amount in excess of the maximum amount of compensation provided for in this section.
