A% <br />8.A. - Page 110 <br />Since the Council has voted in the new restrictions in 1968, as recommended by the staff <br />report, no new homes have been built. The City has effectively created a moratorium for the <br />last 12 years. The seller of Lot 21 has in essence been unfairly denied the opportunity to sell <br />his land. <br />It is my belief that the staff re ort as adopted by the Council should a ! to those ro erties <br />beyond the existing road and utilities as stated in the 1985 report I sincerely believe that Lot 21 <br />can comply with all the current City codes and restrictions and should be given a building <br />permit. <br />There is a significant housing shortage in Redwood City and I know the City has a commitment <br />to reduce this shortage. Although this is only one lot, it is really my only hope of. being able to <br />have a home in Redwood City, the city where I was born and raised. <br />Please consider the above facts and give us your support to proceed with our plan to buy Lot <br />21 and build our home. <br />Sincerely, <br />Yi <br />I, W W" X.
