7.1.G. - Page 2
ALTERNATIVES
Choose not to enter into the Agreement and cancel the Zoppe Circus.
FISCAL IMPACT
The Live Performance Agreement with Zoppe Circus is $79,386; and PRCS estimates
an additional $25,614 would be needed for marketing, equipment and supplies, staffing
costs, etc. to support the 2 weeks of performances for a total cost of $105,000.
Revenue is estimated at $124,000 based sales from last year's shows. Last year, 75%
of seats were filled with the majority of the weekend shows selling out and the weekday
shows being at only 62% of capacity. With the continued use of the new model of lower
ticket prices for midweek shows, we expect to draw in more people to increase the
volume of sales to turn a profit.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This activity is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section
15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or foreseeable physical
change in the environment.
a, 6 ',- /z
CHRISTOPHER BETH
PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR
ROBERT B.
