��...� ��..�.�: .�.,, �.....�. ��..�a�.�....�.e"�... �� . . <br /> � ' � � � � � Pw� � <br /> ' . ,� - <br /> City, the reconstruction and/or relocation of certain of City' s <br /> sanitary sewer and water facilities to accomodate the construction of <br /> the proposed facilities, the consent by City to County's use of <br /> certain streets and other public rights of way for the construction of <br /> said improvements and the cooperation of City in obtaining any <br /> necessary easements or other rights of way necessary therefor; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the above premises and the <br /> mutual promises herein contained, the parties hereto hereby agree as <br /> follows: <br /> I . DEFINITIONS. The following words or phrases wherever used <br /> in this agreement shall have the meanings hereinafter respectively <br /> ascribed thereto: <br /> A. Authority. The South Bayside System Authority, a <br /> public entity established by joint exercise of powers agreement <br /> made and entered into pursuant to Articles I and II (commencing <br />, with Section 6500) of Chapter 5, Division 7, Title I of the <br /> Government Code of the State of California and entered into by <br /> and between the Cities of Belmont, Redwood City and San Carlos, <br /> municipal corporations of the State of California, ana the West <br /> Bay Sanitary District (formerly the Menlo Park Sanitary <br /> District) , a sanitary district formed pursuant to the Sanitary <br /> District Act of 1923 (Division 6 commencing with Section 6400 <br /> of the Health and Safety Code of the State of Cali�ornia) . <br /> B. Authority's Treatment Plant. That sanitary sewerage <br /> ' treatment plant and associated appurtenances and facilities <br /> constructed, operated and maintained by Authority as a part of <br /> Authority' s s�werage facilities under and pursuant to said <br /> joint exercise of powers agreement and more particularly <br /> described in those certain plans and specifications entitled <br /> "Subregional Wastewater Works - Unit No. 1 - Wastewater <br /> Treatment Plant" , dated 1977, and pr.epared by Jenks and <br /> Harrison, Consulting Sanitary and Civil Engineers, including <br /> Page 3 of 9 pages <br /> _ � , , ,._ <br />
