EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> This agreement is being funded by two different funding sources. The first source is through <br /> the Alcohol and Other drug prevention partnership grant awarded by the County of San <br /> Mateo. <br /> Consultant will perform the following activities: <br /> 1. Convene Youth/Professional Development Action Team <br /> • Bring together partner agencies to build their capacity to support Youth <br /> Development(YDPD) efforts in Redwood City. <br /> • Host meetings every two months to applying CYDI survey findings, identify <br /> professional development opportunities for partners, and disseminate <br /> relevant best practice resources and materials. Timeline: Bi-Monthly <br /> 2. Coordinate and Host Annual Youth Development Refresher Training <br /> 3. Professional Development Trainings <br /> • Identify professional development needs of providers in Redwood City <br /> organizations and Community Schools. <br /> • Lead YDPD Action Team to host 2 professional development opportunities, in <br /> addition to YD Refresher Training (with o)ne of two trainings in consultation <br /> with Director of School-Community Partnerships, Sandra Portasio, <br /> addressing, not limited to, needs of after-school providers) Timeline: <br /> Winter/Spring 2013-2014. <br /> The second half of this scope is being funded by RWC2020 core accounts to organize and <br /> implement two youth development partner convening's. <br /> Consultant will perform the following activities: <br /> 1. Bring together Redwood City 2020 Prevention Partnership and Community Youth <br /> Development partners for a Fall 2013 convening (�2 hours) to reintroduce Redwood <br /> City 2020's priorities to partners, announce the process for reorganization, and <br /> engage them in opportunities for involvement. <br /> 2. Bring together Redwood City 2020 Prevention Partnership and Community Youth <br /> Development partners for spring 2014 convening (�2 hours) to provide the <br /> opportunity of networking and learning to strengthen Youth Development efforts; this <br /> convening may also serve as a planned YDPD-related training opportunity. <br /> 3. Coordinate efforts with RWC2020 Executive Director, RWC2020 IYAT Liaison, <br /> RWC2020 YDPD Lead, other RWC 2020 initiative leaders, and RWC2020 <br /> Administrative Assistant. <br /> 4. Create and coordinate outside/contract trainers and/or facilitators for the convenings. <br /> 5. Produce plans, agendas, rosters, event and evaluation materials related to the <br /> convenings. <br /> 6. Facilitate both convening's in partnership with identified collaborators (e.g., Redwood <br /> City 2020 Prevention Partnership Lead), including introductions/welcoming, group <br /> agreement review, introduction of training/topic facilitators, review of next steps, and <br /> evaluations/thank you. <br /> 7. Tabulate and distribute convening evaluation results to necessary parties; follow up <br /> with convening attendees and all partners via email/e-newsletter with next steps or <br /> future training/networking opportunities. <br /> Consultant will invoice RWC 2020 monthly, providing documentation of actions taken during that <br /> proceeding month. <br /> REV:08-22-13 MLG <br /> Page 30 of 30 <br />
