EXHIBIT "A"
SCOPE OF SERVICES
• Project Description
Sanitary Sewer Pump Station No. 10 ("PS 10") is located near the intersection of Davit
Lane and Shell Parkway, in Redwood Shores. It was reconstructed in 1994 to replace the
pump station constructed in 1969. PS 10 receives wastewater flow from steen other
pump stations and then pumps those flows directly to South Bayside System Authority
(SBSA) wastewater treatment plant. Functionality of PS 10 and its associated force main
are critical to the overall operation of city's wastewater collection system in Redwood
Shores,as PS 10 conveys more than half of the system's wastewater flow.
Blocka Construction, Inc. of Fremont,California was awarded the project and is currently
performing the construction of the pump sta.tion. The PLC/RTU (Programmable Logic
ControURemote Telemetry Unit)at the site is outdated and needs to be upgraded. As part
of the project, City stafF recommended replacing the PLC/RTU to be furnished by the
EDCCO Group, Inc. who has performed and maintained the City's SCADA system so
it's consistent with other facilities.
• Scone of Work/Tasks
T'he EDCCO Group, Inc. shall furnish the PLC/RTLT on a back-pan assembly for
installation by the contractor in the existing MCC section. T'he batteries shall be supplied
loose in the mounting assembly. The OIT shall be supplied loose for contractor mounting
on the MCC door. The new SCADA panel shall be factory tested and UL labeled.
The following components shall be provided as part of the work.
Lift Station 10 Station Re-build 2013
Quantity Brand Part Number Description
1 Hoffman A48P24 Mounting Pan 45"x 21"
1 Meanwell DR-120-24 24 VDC Power Supply
1 Meanwell DR-UPS40 24 VDC UPS/Battery Charger
2 Power Sonic PS121800 Battery 12V 18.0 AH
1 Allen Bradley 1766-L326XBA Micrologix 1400 PLC
2 Allen Bradley 1762-IF4 Analog Input Module
1 Allen Bradley 1762-OF4 Analog Output Module
1 Allen Bradley 1762-IQ16 Digital Input Module
1 Mapie Systems HMI-5104TH LCD OITTouch Panel-10.4"
1 Adtran DSU-ARDCIII CSU/DSU 24 VDC
1 Transtectector TSJ-48-CLT-GT Telephone Surge Protector
1 NTRON 108-TX Ethernet Switch
2 Time Mark 2628 AC/DC Voltage Sensor 24 VDC
REV: 09-09-13 VR
ATTY/AGR/2013.157/THE EDCCO 19134
