I ,. <br /> Director La Berge, candidate for Council, recalled her close relationship with Jim Smith, <br />- especially during her term as Mayor, and described two of Jim's accomplishments of which he <br /> was most proud: Heron Court housing cooperative and the Fair Oaks Community Center. <br /> Vice Chairman Claire described Jim Smith's commitment to Redwood City, and a few of his <br /> activities that no one knew about, such as the Big BrotherslBig Sisters organization.
